Teppanyaki grilled prawns with Mediterranean salad

These honey marinated prawns with a Mediterranean salad are super easy to make and taste incredible! Cook up this recipe in minutes with a VonShef Teppanyaki Grill and make your summer sizzle.

What you’ll need:

  • 500g fresh jumbo king prawns
  • 200g feta cheese, cubed
  • 150g cherry tomatoes, halved
  • A quarter of a watermelon, cubed
  • Handful each of spinach, rocket and red leaf lettuce 

For the prawn marinade:

  • 4 tbsp honey
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 large red chilli, seeded and finely chopped
  • 1 tsp cumin


  • In a large bowl, mix the marinade ingredients; submerge each prawn in the mix and place on a skewer, leave to stand for at least 5 minutes
  • Turn on the teppanyaki grill and allow the surface to heat thoroughly
  • Once heated, place the skewers on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes, turning once
  • In a large serving bowl, mix the lettuce leaves, watermelon, cherry tomatoes and feta cheese

Plate up the salad and serve with the delicious prawn skewers
